His professional interests include GP training, minor surgery, and joint and soft tissue injections. Out of work he can be found in running shoes, on a tractor, or sat in front of a piano

Dr Natalie Dawes joined the practice in October 2009, she trained at the University of Southampton, qualifying in 2004.  After qualifying, she worked in Southampton General Hospital before moving to Cornwall.  She then worked at the Royal Cornwall Hospital prior to completing her training as a GP here in Cornwall.

Dr Ben Ashmore qualified from Bristol in 1997, having studied Medicine and also a degree in Medical Ethics & Law. He then worked at Treliske for 5years and completed his GP training in 2003.

Having spent the first 9 years of general practice as a partner on the Lizard Peninsula, he relocated to Chacewater in 2020 to be closer to home and his young family. Professionally he enjoys medical education, joint injections and IT.

When he and his wife are not chasing their 3 boys around, or renovating their barn, Ben enjoys walking and sailing.

Dr Kath Stephens

Dr Kath Stephens started work as a salaried GP at Chacewater and Devoran Surgery in September 2017 having worked at another Cornwall practice for 15 years.   She currently works 4 sessions a week as a GP but am also a GP appraiser and examine medical students from the University of Exeter Medical School.

Dr Stephens graduated from Bristol University in 1997 and completed my GP training in Cornwall.

She has done multiple post graduate exams including my MRCGP as well as diplomas in child health, geriatric medicine, family planning and obstetrics and gynaecology.  She fit coils and implants and have an interest in women’s health.  She has 2 children and a Schnoodle who keep her busy when she’s not working.

Dr Becky Hall  joined our practice as a salaried GP in May 2020

She trained at Peninsula Medical School and spent two years in Australia working in both emergency medicine and General Practice, returning to Cornwall to complete her GP training.   Her specialist interests are women’s and sexual and reproductive health plus paediatric medicine.
